We operate a Pagani TG63-150 rig with a 10cm2 50MPa piezo cone. Our rig also has SPT capabilities as well as augering attachments to penetrate alluvial layers. Our rig is set up for heliportable work to ensure we can get into those difficult locations. 

We have skilled soils technicians to complete E1 soakage tests,  hand augers with shear vane tests and scala penetrometers. Our soil testing aligns with the New Zealand Geotechnical Society standards.

We can undertake a wide variety of mechanical drilling via wireline core drilling, flighted augers and open hole such as wash drilling.

We can undertake piezometer and water bore instillation for environmental and geotechnical purposes. We can also provide and install data loggers to understand ground water levels over time.

We have qualified drone pilots to complete photogrammetric surveys. This can be to simply provide an image depicting the soil test locations, through to providing TIN surfaces. We can also undertake ground surveys with our RTK GPS equipment and theodolites.

Radich Geotech offers a unique service by providing in-house geotechnical core logging conducted by a qualified geologist. This ensures accurate and detailed assessments of core samples.

We have skilled operators to undertake test pits and augered holes to the desired depths. We undertake these tasks in diggers from 1.7 ton up to 25 ton.

We have been working with local authorities as well as national agencies to undertake geotechnical testing, surveying and quantification of slips/landslides throughout New Zealand. Our team is equipped to work in all locations whether it be on a busy State Highway through to remote locations.
